1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files or identifiers placed on a browser or device. Similar technologies can remember a session, protect a form, measure a page or recognize a preference. Their privacy impact depends on what they store, who can read them, how long they last and the purpose for which they are used.
The final published policy will include an up-to-date inventory of cookies and similar technologies actually active in each BREAIX surface. A technology should not be listed as active merely because the platform could use it in the future.
2. Categories and purposes
Strictly necessary technologies may support authentication, security, load balancing, accessibility, language or a service explicitly requested by the user. They are generally required for the requested function and cannot be disabled through a preference center without affecting the service.
Optional technologies may support measurement, personalization, communications or other purposes. Where consent is required, they should remain inactive until the user makes an informed choice. The preference interface should make rejection and later withdrawal as easy as acceptance.
- Necessary: session continuity, security and requested functionality.
- Measurement: aggregated understanding of performance and use, where lawfully enabled.
- Preference: remembering a choice the user has expressly made.
- Marketing or third-party: only where separately disclosed and lawfully enabled.
3. Your choices
You can control cookies through the site preference tool when one is presented, through browser settings and, for some third-party technologies, through the provider's own controls. Blocking necessary cookies can prevent login or other requested features from working.
A consent choice should be recorded only for as long as it is useful and legally appropriate. BREAIX should provide a visible way to revisit the choice and explain that browser deletion does not necessarily delete records held for other lawful purposes.
4. Updates and transparency
This policy should be reviewed whenever a new script, analytics tool, embedded service or storage mechanism is introduced. Changes should identify the date, the affected technologies and whether a new consent choice is required.
Questions about cookies or personal data can be sent through the BREAIX contact channel. The Privacy Policy describes the broader processing context and should be read together with this document.
